Considered the bible of backgammon. Former math teacher Paul “X-22” Magriel won the World Championship of Backgammon in 1978. He’s also an accomplished poker player known for his off-beat personality and unusual betting patterns.

Backgammon for Winners

by Bill Robertie

This book uses sample games to reveal the keys to winning play. Author Bill Robertie won the World Championship of Backgammon in 1983 and 1987. Robertie has written several backgammon books and all offer clear, accurate advice. Other excellent books by Robertie include Backgammon for Serious Players, 501 Backgammon Problems and Advanced Backgammon, Volumes 1 and 2.
